And we evolve.

This past Saturday night I suffered my first flash knock out.  The best way to describe it was the lights got flicked off and on.  It was enough for the ref to step in.

I’ve been thinking about what’s next a lot.  It’s not time for a career change but it is time to make changes in my career.  Ill be back this fall fighting for Shogun Fights.  In the mean time I want to especially thank Stotler Chiropractic and Mariner Finance for really helping me out these past few months.  As well as Fit Foods 2 You and Lifemed Institute.    All of these companies are run by amazing people who really put a lot of effort into my well being.  Thank you.

Best laid plans…

I planned to fight five times last year then I blew my knee out.  I planned to make a strong come back this past April, instead I lost a split decision.  Things don’t always go as planned.

Here are a list of things I currently have planned.

  • Fight 3 more times in 2016
  • Ruiner reunites for This Is Hardcore
  • Not eat a lot of chocolate nuts.
  • Update this more

Also I have left the Binns Management family.  Jimmy has been with me since my 3rd pro fight.  Seven fights later I’ve decided I will handle my career entirely on my own.  Jimmy will always be a good friend and we ended on a positive note.  Right now this is just better for me.

It’s going to be cold, Its going to be grey

It took a blizzard for me to update this thing. Well my knee is healed. I went very broke in the time from the injury to now. Things were looking rather grim to say the least. Well, life seem to be looking up. Despite currently living on planet Hoth I have a fight scheduled April 16th at the Royal Farms Arena, my body has healed and I could not be more ready to finally start fighting again. Also some other stuff is happening this year. I don’t know if 2016 will end up being a great year but it has potential to be very memorable. Life is going forward while at the same time,  repeating itself. However in this case what is to come I’m ok with.

Also a lot of my sponsors need to be updated on this site but a huge thank you to Michael Stotler (my chiropractor), Jen and Kent at Lifemed Institute, and Dan Cenidoza (my strength coach at Art and Strength). Also my physical therapist at med star – Tony and my surgeon Lesley Mathews. These people are a huge part of why I am ready to go 6 months after my injury.

Update on the knee

This interview pretty much sums up my current life so click that below. Also I have plenty of shirts left so go check out my webstore. And since I am typing I have friends fighting on the next shogun so go buy tickets from them. Also my dog doesn’t like cats. Thats about it.

INTERVIEW

For every ounce of good luck…

You build a equal or greater amount of bad luck.  AL Bundy said something like that.  I’ve always worried when things were going too good.  Well things were going pretty great.  Then this past week a part of my body decided it was time to give out.  Not sure when I’ll be back to fighting.  Maybe I’ll turn my attention some place else for a moment. For now I need to heal up.

Why do I have a website?

I really need to update this thing more often.  Here is a very quick update on things… I won my last fight. I am now holding a 6-3 record so that’s cool. I flew out to Las Vegas and tried out for the Ultimate Fighter season 22. I did not make it but such is life. It was a great experience over all. My next fight will be announced very soon. All I can say is it will be in Atlantic City in July. Yea.. I got a lot going on so here are some recent interviews I did.

I made a fan page

Yea so if you have Facebook go LIKE my https://www.facebook.com/WreckitRobSullivan Now I will explain how I feel weird about this. From Ruiner to now I always feel weird calling someone a “fan” just like on those rare occasions when I had to sign an autograph or take pictures with people, I don’t know, it always made me feel odd. These are things I understand become a part of life when you start exposing yourself in some manner to the world. That doesn’t mean I will ever feel comfortable doing it. If you support me, you are my friend (unless I totally hate you and for some reason you never got the memo). Just wanted to clarify how I feel about odd things like this. Granted if you are a little kid I will probably always take a picture with you or sign an autograph. Contrary to popular belief I am not a total asshole.
